In my spare time I have taken up painting. Trying to think of a title for this one. Any ideas?

The question was should the president be honest about his medical condition and Pence has thanked the moderator again, and then thanked Kamala and Biden for their well-wishes, and killed all of the clock without answering.

President Woodrow Wilson publicly tried to pretend that the 1918-1919 influenza pandemic (which killed 675,000 Americans) was not happening, even after he himself got sick (which he and his doctor tried to conceal):

  7. Really important story about race, social justice and health -- and why Black people are not signing up for coronavirus vaccine trials. They don't want to be "a guinea pig" for white people. Just 3% of vaccine volunteers are Black. By my colleague .

  8. This may be one if the most touching and impactful endorsements you’ll ever see coming from a career military man and former Bush CIA Director who has been battling the effects of a severe stroke but is speaking out against Trump.

Bill Foege, a giant in epidemiology who helped lead the effort to eradicate smallpox, wrote a private letter to Redfield calling on him to expose Trump's mishandling of Covid -- even if it means getting fired. Good scoop from :

Very important story by my colleague . Trump promised to bring back coal jobs. He rolled back environmental regs, stocked his administration with coal company executives. Still, no coal jobs. Promise broken.

Trump’s doctor admitted he misled the public & his credibility is on the line. “You can’t both wear the white coat and lie, evade, obfuscate the situation, because you are using the white coat to give yourself credibility.” ⁦⁩ told me.

Trump’s doctor is in a tough spot. He’s a Navy doc caring for the commander in chief, and he has to respect patient privacy. But he is losing credibility in the medical world by ducking questions and obfuscating.

Pertinent questions Trump's doctors refused to answer: 1. What did lung X-rays show? They said "some expected findings." Was there lung damage? 2. How long did he need oxygen? Answers to those questions would help confirm whether Trump has severe Covid-19.

Trump's doctor just acknowledged that he misled the public yesterday. "I didn't want to give any information that might steer the course of illness in another direction and in doing so it came of that we were trying to hide something."
