I should have made clear, this was done with the full support of church leaders and parents. We are all very proud of the kids and they got a standing ovation.

They refused to be confirmed into their church in protest of the general councils anti LGBTQ stance. They won’t join the church till all can join. Today was supposed to be their confirmation ceremony.

Right. They do not want to join until the denomination stops its discriminatory practices against lgbtq+ persons.

Crying waiting for my physical therapy. My daughter is LGTBQ+ and it took a while for her and her girlfriend to find a church in their faith that accepted them. When they finally did, the peace my daughter found was amazing.
