Update: The #Taliban and US met for more than 10 hours yesterday, they are meeting today as well to finalise a statement on reduction in violence in #Afghanistan. The statement, expected to come out today, will also include a date for when the peace deal will be signed.

Taliban officials are expected to send out a statement shorty.
"Both parties will now create a suitable security situation in advance of agreement signing date," Taliban statement say.
Next up: Signing of the US-Taliban peace deal, which would include prisoner exchange and date for the Intra-Afghan talks. This is if the "Reduction in Violence" is not violated.
What does reduction of violence means? Is Taliban going to target only civilians?
