its kinda true though, every time i have seen a post about a woman saying she feels unsafe around men or anything to do with rape, there's always comments saying "men get raped too" or "what about false allegations?". It totally dimishes what the post was about

It’s not insensitive. When people say men get raped too it is usually used as a rebuttal when women come out w their stories. Same way all lives do matter, ofc men’s stories matter but what’s stopping u from starting that conversation instead of simply using it as a rebuttal
