Promoting corn ethanol is nothing but a wealth transfer / welfare for farmers without addressing the problem. It’s the same with the push for corn syrup. America has moved out of the agrarian phase 100 years ago (more) but our politics are still stuck in it.

War in Ukraine will result in severe food (grain) shortages worldwide. Should immediately STOP converting corn into ethanol. Put it back into food supply.
