Just now Biden said: “We need more refining capacity” and “This idea they don’t have oil to drill & to bring up is simply not true.” In fact, Biden killed a refinery on May 14 and killed a 1M acre oil & gas lease in Alaska in May 12.

I have now caught the Biden admin in three flagrant lies about refinery capacity, oil drilling, and investor attitudes Yesterday lied to If Biden wants to play the Big Tech censor game, he has to play by the same rules

Deese claimed the Dallas Fed Reserve found that 94% of oil/gas execs blame factors other than govt regs. In truth, "the executives laid into Biden for getting in the industry’s way" And, two months after the survey, Biden killed the refinery expansion. barrons.com/articles/texas

Last week Biden aide demanded that Big Tech censor critics of renewables. Why? Because renewables are failing miserably. Indeed, they are contributing significantly to higher energy prices & shortages, and reporters are finally catching on

Rather than confront the problem head on, last week Team Biden decided to a) demand censorship of their critics and b) scapegoat the only people who can end the energy crisis. It was a transparently idiotic strategy, likely driven by some mix of stupidity, senility, & dogmatism

Pretty sure there is nothing American production can do to ease the prices at the pump in the short term. The only country that can do that is Saudi Arabia. This is all disingenuous. Killing pipelines and refineries that won’t be up for 5 years is meaningless.

I know -- somewhat rhetorical. BUT -- the reality is that most things that side of the aisle do are in a gray area/illegal/unconstitutional. There are no legal/diplomatic means to quickly thwart such things. Nor are there people willing to do so. Takes forever to get action.
