While most of the orphaned elephants at our Voi Reintegration Unit take delight in charging at orphan Buffalo Ivia, Ngilai has seemingly taken him under his wing. Our Keepers report that they both enjoy sparring together, a nicety Ivia only extends to Ngilai.
