The funniest part about that number to me is that the money on top in instances like this is usually meant to financially punish someone hard enough that they won't do it again. $1200 was enough to shut Dave up. How embarrassing.

Sheila - Good on you for fighting the battle to punish those who defame without thought. If people are going to say it, they have to take ownership of it. Too many don't know where the line is between criticism, debate, and outright slanderous defamation.
