FTR, the image is copy-pasted, NOT me, and I couldn't find who originally posted it, or I would've attributed (unless they wanted to remain anonymous for reasonable fear of libertarian brigading).

NB: For those just now discovering this and feeling a perverse impulse to rando in and "yeah but" at me, I'll take care of the blocking myself. Fuck off with your "you're mad at the wrong thing" assjackery.

It's been 16 years since I delivered, but I REMEMBER the shit people would do. I can fully believe that people continue to be even worse in these times.

Overtip. Overtip those that deliver your food during a pandemic.

damn straight. I rarely get delivery, but I've been doing 50% tips for delivery when I do, and 30% tips for takeaway.

I tip BETTER during the pandemic. I still remember delivering pizza as a side gig years ago. Great story: lived in John Boehner’s district (before he was Speaker, just a Rep). Delivered a $100+ order to his house. He didn’t tip. At all. Always hated the motherfucker.

Same! Food delivery apps in my area allow to add tips for drivers (hope they reach them as written in app) I tip extra esp if distance is long.

Sad to hear this I am actually tipping more than the usual since their service is keeping me safe inside away from people

I upped my usual tip, and have been careful to tip based on the price before any discounts. My pizza deliveries have been getting better. Funny how that works.

Our discounts are sitting in our inbox, we haven't been using them since this started. I so much appreciate food deliveries, and I'm so glad our usual places seem to be doing well in spite of everything.
