We stood down for Labour in 2015 in Wirral West. Got nothing back & 0 recognition. We have voters who want to vote Green. Why deny them?
In short, because a vote for the Greens (or indeed, the Lib Dems), means Labour loses out and local environmental issues will be ignored...
They won't be. Regardless of which MP we have. Please do not underestimate pressure groups. As a conservation biologist, I'm editing my
study on the Dee for publication. I have NE, NRW & NGO's interested in it. I'm standing bc we need scientists in politics, but I won't back
down bc of results tomorrow. Don't forget it's a Labour council that's spent £600k already of our money on the golf resort plans.
I honestly don't know what impact Margret Greenwood would have on that, knowing we have a Labour city mayor too. Old boys club, I'm afraid.
You have just lost me as a follower and pretty much everyone I know. The greens were hugely respected. Sadly that trust is gone.
Were you a green voter before?
Yes I've lived in Bedford Hampshire Brighton and Germany. I've often voted green.
Ok, but you haven't voted Green on the Wirral?
Just for fairness of having as much info as possible. These are the environmental differences between Labour & Greens.pic.twitter.com/wii30q28lH
I'm a life long environmentalist my husband is a sientist as are many of our freinds. Margret won us back to labour. UCG was a major reason
That's fair enough. I'm a scientist too. Did you read my other comments?
