Why the hell is this not mainstream knowledge? I just told my husband about this and I’m not sure he believes me. Wtf.

Most people weren’t aware of its existence until recently. Those involved with white supremacy & alt right groups are very familiar with it ~ thus their use of the lingo. Brace yourself and google it. It’s very real and extremely disturbing. I’ve posted screenshots on my feed.

Sounds a lot like Rebel Media vocabulary. The voice of Canadian Conservative politicians
-
You noticed that too.
-
I feel like I've gone down the rabbit hole, because I have to resist the urge to make a nuanced discussion of how Rebel's anti-woman animus imitates other MRA movements more closely than incels.

There needs to be legislation put in place, especially for our dog-whistling politicians who are inciting a lot of this.
-
Wouldn't that fall under hate crimes? I feel thats what it is.
-
It should fall under that. I am so tired of this.
-
Its a hairline from being totally out of control.
-
I agree. Seeing more and more of it where I live.

I had never heard of them before. Nor had I ever known the words "bump stock", AR 15, cuck, beta male etc. etc.etc. I didn't really want to learn about all this hate.
-
cuck is actually a bit out of fashion at this point, so you missed it rising AND cresting!

Socially awkward and isolated boys and men are vulnerable to whoever offers support. Unfortunately alt-right are highly motivated to provide this support, with ulterior motives.
-
So how do we intercept these alt-reich vermin before they radicalize socially awkward and isolated boys? Is it even desirable by society to intercept them with an empathetic but non-toxic alternative?
-
I think about my friends with autistic boys, and wonder how they will turn out. I suspect we are doing a better job at integrating these kids into society than we used to, but it’s a matter of resources and parenting style. I’m no expert, though.
-
These kids *want* to have healthy relationships. They didn’t start out being misogynistic. But their learning style is completely out of whack, and anxiety may also be a factor.
-
Learning style, anxiety, and also prejudice. If I were a short man for instance, I would never even try to date. If I was autistic, same thing. I was raised to believe a man deserves nothing and can only be romantically loved if he has high socio-economic status.
-
Understanding what is “lovable” is a problem right there.
