2. Answer me this @DLoesch.
When you said you wished journalists would be curb-stomped, what did you mean by that?
Here's the definition of it.pic.twitter.com/s7wcUKyhoh

Here is where @DLoesch called journalists:
1. "The worst thing that could possibly happen to the American political system."
2. "The rat bastards of the Earth."
3. "The boil on the backside of American politics."
She denies she ever said any of this though. It's weird.pic.twitter.com/BovX9XGl6r
There are zero clean hands. Taking you at your word that DLoesch was not taken out of context there is plenty where "journalist" have called for violence against us conservatives. Start with the pages of Slate.
You'll have to show me bro. I denounce it.
Here is nicole wallace of MSNBC, I will try to go back through and find my slate examples.https://twitter.com/RealSaavedra/status/995073904300322817 …
Isn't that person a Republican?
She had the guts to immediately apologize & say it was wrong. Where’s @DLoesch’s apology?https://twitter.com/nicolledwallace/status/995057490709622785?s=21 …
Having watched Nicole Wallace (and read) since the republican primary she was NOT SORRY about anything. She meant what she said.
I am not attempting to assess someone true feelings. I am commenting on someone immediately renouncing bad language. Had Wallace continued such language, I could see your point. She hasn’t. Loesch has yet to apologize for any of this.
If a police officer said, "Black people should be put into a head lock." And this was on tape. But immediately said... wait I am sorry. We would all find such apology dubious at the very least and most likely absolutely non credible. How do I know this...because it has happened.
Omigosh, @dloesch is a horrible human being.
I've been interviewed by Dana and I listen to her carefully: I doubt seriously she would advocate killing journalists. Just because she's a second amendment defender does not make her an advocate of murder
Maybe you should watch the interview again
Perhaps you should, and be honest this time.
She calls for journalists to be curb stomped. End of story
If that’s what you think, you’re either not bright or lying.
Katherine is correct. Here are Ms. Loesch's exact words from the beginning of that clip: ""I said this, actually, on television not too long ago – I'm happy just, frankly, to see ‘em curb-stomped." If you still claim she did not say that, you're either not bright or lying.
“I’m happy to see it” vs. “Ya’ll go do it.” Moreover, anyone who thinks this was an actual call for violence is an actual idiot or at the very least, a ridiculous partisan.
Words matter, context matters....words from 45 are used to stir, agitate his supporters. Watch any of his speeches....pay heed to how he riles his base. He has created a huge divide in this country with his hate rhetoric. Words matter!
Pretty sure she was using curb-stomped as a metaphor for beating down MSM figuratively by calling them out and exposing them, etc... not actually stomping on their heads.
But why such a harsh metaphor? Why so specific? She could have just as easily said "call them out and expose them", instead of a particular phrase that does in fact mean physically beating someone.
That's usually how metaphors work, they're an extreme. Like when one football team says they're going to murder the other they don't actually mean it.
If you are in a position to speak to many people you need to be more careful with your words.
Just like our pathetic media is? Lies, drama, and all the adjectives they can use, ripped, torn, tortured etc? Yeah ok!
Isn't Dana Loesch media?
I’m talking about the main stream media, CNN, Fox, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, you know all but Fox owned by Democrats!
Nope. CBS and Viacom -- Sumner Redstone & family; hard right for Bush Sr. NBCUniversal (Comcast) -- Brian Roberts; both sides. CNN (now pt of AT&T) Randall Stephenson -- Trump $$. Maybe the only hard Dem owning a major media co. is Bob Iger (Disney, ABC, ESPN, Marvel, Lucasfilm).
