    Good piece, ! I missed any reference to the broad-mindedness and inclusivity of Swamiji’s vision of the past. He was critical of some traditions& taboos, unscientific ideas & regressive social practices like child marriage, mistreatment of widows, intolerance etc.

    How can one explain to a non-cricket fan the rich satisfaction of a well-earned draw? What amazing batting by (backache) & (hamstring injury). Each would easily have had 15 runs more if they'd been able to run. W/ injured, they saved India!

    The man went to bed last night with a terrible back tweak and in unbelievable pain. He could not stand up straight when he woke up this morning. Could not bend down to tie his shoe laces. I am amazed at what pulled off today.
