(1/3) There are at least 2 possible scenarios: #1 In 2016, before anybody thought @realDonaldTrump would win, the FBI correctly anticipated the Trump campaign would be uniquely targeted by Russia & devoted extraordinary efforts to investigating it....(cont.)

(3/3) ...the FBI was still incompetent at preventing the Russian interference they'd investigated all year, and then found no grounds to open an investigation into @realDonaldTrump until after he fired FBI Director Comey. Or #2 The govt spied on Trump for political purposes.

The strange thing about that spin is IF they were concerned about Russian interference they did NOTHING to stop it - they just tried to observe it. Why not tell the Trump campaign to be on the look out?

Yeah so we know it was a setup to eavesdrop on campaign personnel and anyone with contacts to the campaign hence the incessant unmasking. It seems like Obama used a lot of government resources to interfere with the 2016 election. Maybe we should deploy spies to all campaigns.

#2: the Gov was sure @realDonaldTrump would never win so the spying would not be exposed.

I'm still focusing on the Awan brothers and all of those destroyed servers that the FBI never exposed to forensic examination. Was the Iran payment a payoff?

I have to go with #2. If #1 I feel it would have been publicized that we knew about it, in an order to send a message to Russia that we did know. Instead, they all denied it. Also if it were to protect TRUMP, why not tell him?

If #1, then shouldn't the FBI have warned Trump that Russia was trying to do that instead of trying to trap him? FYI: Clapper already lied to congress under oath once about the Fed govt spying on American citizens.

Where is all this supposed "Russian interference"??? Some amateurish bot posts on Facebook? A couple of rallies where nobody showed up? It sounds like a made up bogeyman to achieve some other purpose.

#4 the scope of Obama’s Administration spying hasn’t yet been fully appreciated and may come out now. We know about Their spying on Congress. Why do we assume it was only Trump. Betcha Bernie got similar treatment. That would split the D party in two.
