I had a severe burning sensation for about 10 hours. I never told the physician
-
You would need to speak with the gadolinium experts but it seems like that means you should avoid the same dye in the future if at all possible. Check out info here:https://gadoliniumtoxicity.com

Thank you Sharyl!

The only place I have heard of this is on your show, no where else! People need to be informed of this Before an MRI.
-
The industry doesn’t want patients to be informed on the dangers! Action taken on
#Gadolinium in the UK.https://www.gov.uk/drug-device-alerts/class-2-medicines-recall-magnevist-and-omniscan-solutions-for-injection-el-18-a-02 … -
Perhaps this is why the MedGuides (except MultiHance) aren't yet available? They mandated this in Dec2017. Industry authors the MedGuides, followed by FDA approval & release. MedGuides serve no purpose in informing patients if they remain unavailable, unreleased.
#MRI#Gadolinium -
have any idea why the MedGuide for
#Multihance is not available....This brand is what gave me#MRI#contrast#neurotoxicity -
Excellent Question on MedGuides
#Gadolinium not being available for@SGottliebFDA#FDA -
Wonder why that is...Was just on the FDA website ( looking to file FOIA ) Of course we all know website's huge. At the same time we have a right to know .( I just saw your reply) If not. When did this change?
-
@SGottliebFDA Guess we'll know through the massive amounts of red tape even though#gadolineum shows in#autopsies including: bones, brain and major organs . Dead people don't lie .... -
You are right. Dead people don’t lie! The industry can’t attempt to deny and make excuses for
#gadolinium retention shown in an autopsy but will the#FDA take action to protect? The suggested 2007 Black Box Warning is NOT being disclosed to patients!

My aunt had issues with the indigo dye 40 years ago. Never was the same.

I found that interesting. Had a MRI several years ago with contrast.

Sheryl, how about CT scan contrast dye, same stuff? A tech ‘blew up’ my wife’s arm in ER, luckily subsided in 24 hrs
-
CT scans use Iodine-based & barium-sulfate compounds.
#gadolinium is a heavy metal used as contrast with MRI’s.

Thank you for this. My health was compromised by those dyes as well.
