4 Sinclair promo continued: "Unfortunately, some members of the media use their platforms to push their own personal bias and agenda to control exactly what people think. This is extremely dangerous to a democracy. At KOMO it’s our responsibility to pursue and report the truth."

You can argue with how it's done but as I wrote in my article, national promotional campaigns are devised all the time and done in concert with local stations and affiliates. That's the whole point.

I see it as a mission statement as much as a promo. If one doesn't believe in the mission statement of the company they work for then they shouldn't be working for them. It applies to all local or otherwise.
