Are you currently pushing a purported connection with autism?

Plenty to read on that point:https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/bad-medicine/ …

https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/did-a-high-ranking-whistleblower-really-reveal-that-the-cdc-covered-up-proof-that-vaccines-cause-autism-in-african-american-boys/ … The great thing is: You don't decide it's a scandal either. Fortunately the reporting on this is improving! Big step up from when the scare started.
-
We agree on that point! (I never claimed to be the decider). But please note you are referencing a well-known pharma astroturf propaganda site. There may be a lot of work ahead of you if you really want to dig into the latest science (not on "http://sciencebasedmedicine.org " lol.

There's a lot of links on that "whistleblower." You don't like one of them. And if we're going by what things are well known as...isn't that where we started?!
-
You lost me there... But thank you for the civil conversation, I appreciate the engagement very much! You sound super smart and are certainly able and welcome to draw your own conclusions based on the research you like.
-
I wasn't pointing to the fact you took issue with the "propaganda" that had labeled you as an antivaxxer.
-
I'm sure it's me and I'm just denser than usual because it's late but I don't understand that tweet either. Maybe we can continue another time! Thanks once again!
-
I meant *was*. It's not hard. I don't take seriously your criticism of SBM. And you don't take seriously your reputation as an anti-vaxxer...despite the fact that you're touting a Wakefield documentary (a known fraud http://www.cnn.com/2011/HEALTH/01/05/autism.vaccines/index.html …)

I'm kind of familiar with this. The propagandists pushed to have the documentary removed from the festival. When you see forces trying to censor info rather than debate it, you should generally suspect something may be amiss. This was a big flag, indeed!
-
Why? Scares aren't good. A lot of the early reporting on vaccines based on the fraudulent link between vaccines and autism caused a lot of damage. Why give that airtime?
-
Sorry I missed this a minute ago. I don't intend to scare and I don't report based on how I want people to "feel" or even trying to force them to think a certain way; I just like to bring facts to light and then you can decide for yourself.

You're combining a number of different things. Whether you might need a second dose of of a vaccine isn't a scandal. That they lose their effectiveness over time is also not a scandal.
