Do you think the Deep State is real? And do you think Obama is part of it?
-

-
re: Obama I don't know but I have come to believe what people think of the Deep State is what I informally nicknamed "the persistent bureaucracy" after I worked in DC for awhile and yes, it exists.
-
What do you think of DiGenova’s theory about the “Russian scandal”?
-
The notion that a secretive group of F.B.I. agents concocted the Russia investigation as a way to keep Trump from becoming president. There was a plot to illegally exonerate Hillary Clinton and, if she didn’t win the election, to frame Donald Trump with a falsely created crime.
-
Well that seems to have pretty much in general terms borne out so far.
-
The problem I see is that some people still don’t believe the obvious and think Trump really did what he’s being accused of, rather than realizing Mueller appears to want to “find” a crime that isn’t there
and won’t stop until he makes one up.

Can you recommend someone else as professional as yourself that we can turn to for honest reporting of facts? I'm having trouble here!
-
awww you are sweet. There are plenty of journalists here and there who do it.. it's just harder for them to get their stories published, but they're out there.
-
Maybe retweet one now and again so we get the hint?

Does the Republic survive to midterms? I. hear. there was a terrible Storm earlier this evening.

-
We already died because of net neutrality and we died because, well, the climate. So obviously we can't possibly survive.

French Toast or Pancakes?

You have influence, I have a proposal - Senate may serve two 6 year terms, then sit out 3 years but may run for one more term. (12, pause 6) Potential total of 18 years. If worthy they will be re - elected after the pause. If not, oh well.
-
Every strategy I can think of -- they can think of a counter strategy to defeat the conflicts of interest intended to avoid...
-
If you work for an elected official you can’t work for a lobbying firm for 10years.
-
But they can get around that by not "calling" it lobbying etc etc
