I don't think anybody hijacked anything. It's a free country and she wasn't rude. Nobody owns time on Twitter, or even a hashtag, that's how it works. If you don't like it (as you said) you can mute her, me, etc. but many voices are heard on social media.

I don't know that she supports the hashtag... yes you have a right to feel the way you do of course and you don't need to feel sympathy, but if you feel for the gun victims you might also feel for her sadness and try to see from another view, too.

We agree. Most everyone wants to live here--assuming we can't take in 7 billion people, the way I look at it, those who don't go on waiting lists shouldn't be favored above the good people who do.

To favor those close to our southern border by letting them come illegally with impunity over those who have no chance to be close (Africans, Russians) isn't fair and creates an industry that endangers the illegal immigrants (human trafficking, sex trade, drugs for transport)
