That sounds like a non-denial denial.

That sounds like cognitive dissonance in the face of an unequivocal denial. Liz is sludge of the worst of the political machine. Sharyl is class. In a race to the bottom, I suspect you'll always view Liz as a winner.
-
Read her reply again. She didn’t deny anything. She just said Liz Mair wouldn’t know.
-
You're in a bubble. You're not going to let something like facts pop it as long as you feel warm and cozy inside it. Sharyl already asserted she hadn't in her article. Liz made accusation-burden of proof is hers. You put it on Sharyl, while Liz acts offended. Smear in action!
-
Thanks, I’m kind of enjoying it in here. I’m new to the Twitter thing and am quite pleased that my first war could be with Sharyl Attkisson and her army. Definitely need followers, so I appreciate the pub!

In any event, I have no idea what your problem is with me. I've discussed several stories with your team that they expressed interest in and (I believe) pursued, because they were good stories. We're not actually adversaries here. No idea why you're acting like we are.
-
I'm sorry that you're obviously so troubled by my pointing out that I think your Hill piece is off-base. I've actually always been a fan of yours, and think you do good work. That's why I've pitched stuff to people on your team.
-
As memory serves Liz, you were behind a smear campaign against Melania Trump, a person who has harmed no one. Pretty low IMO.

This is just weird, Sharyl. I work with numerous clients, and have worked for employers, that root out waste, fraud and abuse, and you cover that. They've absolutely shopped you opposition research that you've used in write-ups. Nothing wrong with that on either side!
-
I think it's really weird that you're acting like this is something nefarious. It's not. When, e.g., a Senator uncovers a pork project and assembles oppo research on it and then their staff give you the story, there is nothing wrong with that.
-
Like pushing opposition research to substantiate a false claim of a presidential condidate in the middle of an election. Sounds like alot of excuse making from journalists for being complicit pushing an unverified dossier to sway an election. Its all about your credibility.
