After each mass shooting, we used to automatically explore this obvious question. But if you'll notice that conversation was re-directed some years back. Now we don't address the obvious. I wonder why. (Not really).https://twitter.com/RobSchneider/status/969118158392000512 …

Are we sure ALL mass shooting murderers were on anti depressant drugs? Do you have any idea how many millions take them and most of these people don’t kill people? It’s not the drugs in ALL cases, it’s the underlying illness & lack of MH treatment!

You make a point. Most ppl on anti-depressants never shoot up schools. (Almost nobody who buys AR-15s shoot up schools. In fact, most schools will never have a mass shooting, despite all the factors that contribute to the ones that do.) We're faced with trying to help solve

You nailed it. America has always had guns, it's enshrined in our bill of rights, what's changed is how we handle our mentally ill children.

It’s likely captured under the broader mental illness scheme. But psychotropic drugs are common to a large percentage of mass shooters, they should be mentioned specifically. Do the meds side effects lead to mass shooting? Lack of impulse control, delusional ideation,...

Agree: Another aspect that no one talks about related to the psychotropic drugs is the rise in teen suicide, particularily males, but girls are on rise as well. Although these teens are not "mass shooters", they still exhibit anger and violence to themselves and others.

Maybe instead of looking into which congressmen are receiving money from NRA, we should be looking more closely into Pharma/drug company money.
