I'm sorry I have heard the phrase for years. Fake News and Propaganda are hand in hand synonymous terms. He certainly wasn't the first one to have propaganda thrown at them. Why does he use it constantly and same for Collusion/russia...if not guilty why protest too much?
It's amazing how many people think they've heard it for years when they haven't. Maybe you have; maybe not :) Can you find me a popular citation from pre-2016 where it's used in this context? I'd like to see it.
This basically echoes what my research found. iT was introduced in its modern context in Sept 2016 (and flooded the popular media shortly thereafter, after President Obama helped publicize the effort). Thanks...
?? I think there was a minute by minute effort by the left to declare certain efforts/stories fake. It was taken over by a minute by minute effort by Trump to declare certain media outlets/stories fake. I didn't give anyone a pass, just traced the roots and progress.
I'm a fan...I believe you. Where we got off wrong is that I think we have to stop playing into the left/right b.s.. There is an America that I grew up with that is being destroyed. I too need to stop using these divisive terms to bring back the heart of America: Tolerance.
