Just finished it, thanks. Has two Drs in MD like that. Married, he was my GP, she my dermotoligist. She took ins & co-pay. He got all the labs done at his cost. I *think he operated on a cash basis. The Drs Rudo.

But did they not all still carry conventional health care? Interesting story and amazing how little some tests can cost compared to going to your current Dr or Hospital. The second method seemed most intriguing of them to me!

Two do because they get insurance thru work; one does not. The two that do think they still save $ over using their health insurance for primary care and paying insurance required co-pays and deductibles for visits and labs.

Thank you for clarifying. Love your show and I am reading your book The Smear which is fascinating.

IMO it reminds of the faux-progressive
#legalization lobbying and the very nutsy cans of worms that have set in at Cal's Lost Coast since same lobby moved in to area, and the nearby forest.#Bigfoot#Guns and#Weed are w horrible mix, worse w/ a crooked cop thereThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

It’s funny because the more we talk about healthcare it becomes clear that we aren’t dealing with a healthcare issue.

Fabulous topic. I would love to see you go even deeper into functional medicine (root cause) vs allopathic medicine (obamacare) models of care.

Very interesting discussion. The Society of Actuaries publication Health Watch contained an article in May 2016 on Direct Primary Care. Disclaimer: I am the current editor but was not in 2016. https://www.soa.org/Library/Newsletters/Health-Watch-Newsletter/2016/may/hsn-2016-iss-80.pdf …

There are definitely ways to innovate in
#healthcare. One size does not fit all, so pro-consumer options are what we should encourage.

The ACA is dead. Individual mandate is toast and more people are choosing alternatives that are far cheaper than anything offered under Obama. But enjoy your delusions, honey.
