I can't shake the feeling that this is going to get much worse. It's not just this, but there's a pattern from the IRS though Congress to you and James Rosen, etc...

Oh, and the previously declassified FISC review of abuses. Can't forget that. For the record, I'm a lifelong independent.

Sharyl kills it here. Documenting strict FISA protocols grounded in history. Inference is that Carter Page process is corrupt and those that prosecuted it likely felt that they could ignore policy... (likely because they felt sufficiently righteous to grant themselves a waiver)
-
Mass hysteria? I’m trying to be generous here...very hard to believe our best and brightest agents convinced themselves that DJT was controlled by Putin or collaborated with him to steal the election.

Difficult times.. those who are accused of alleged major abuses are those who control the info and are the ones who would prosecute--themselves?

Sharyl....that begs the question....if the process is criminal and corrupt as the GOP would have us believe....why the hell did they just reauthorize FISA? It's hard to be sympathetic.
-
That's why they rushed the vote. They wanted it passed before these abuses were known.
-
dude that makes no sense

The court is necessary. There are rules in place...procedures outlined...multiple levels of authorization required for applications to the court. THIS case...what is outlined in The Memo is a complete violation of all rules & procedures.
-
No it's not. Secret unconstitutional courts cannot be allowed.
-
The FISA court is not unconstitutional. It has been in place since 1979. The manner in which this application was processed and approved may be unconstitutional. The system was abused. That doesnt make the court unconstitutional.....just as speeding doesnt make driving unlawful.
-
The fact something is in place for a time has NOTHING to do with whether it is constitutional or not. SMDH The existence of a law does not create the constitutionality of that law.

Agree with
@bradcooney1: If no one high up goes to jail we are essentially a banana republic. These are felonies. Time to enforce the laws against deep state they routinely use against the rest of us. BTW: I include the IRS as part of deep state. -
I am so tired of nobody being held to account for these behaviors.

Did you see/hear what Brennan said about Nunes today in the WaPo article?

Says the guy who got caught spying on the U.S. Senate. It must be a requirement of these corrupt agency heads to have zero capacity for self awareness.
