I did a little searching and edited out the clip of Christopher Wray making that claim on Dec 7, 2017. Retweet this as either Christopher Wray is either lying or incredibly ignorant of what went on around him at the FBI. Either way...pic.twitter.com/fpZkqhDa88

So at the least Wray should be fired for lying under oath..yes yes?
-
Immediately from his present post, yes. And after that prosecuted for perjury.
-
Nunes said today there was no issue with section 702 FISA. That is different. I think it is Tilte 1 FISA or traditional FISA in which his memo isabout. Wray very specific to keep citing 702...He says it several times. He knew damn well what he was doing. He didnt offer up title 1
-
Please glance at all the 702 abuses here. These are just a few highlights.http://thehill.com/opinion/civil-rights/365131-fbi-chiefs-claim-on-surveillance-abuse-doesnt-fit-the-evidence …

Maybe the FBI feels anything they do is A-OK and the end justifies the means. Do all of them just believe they are above the law or just plain know better?

-
Not all FBI but 7 Floor for sure
-
Totally agree - I am speaking of the leadership

Who knows? He's a Trump appointee. That alone would cast doubt on his honesty, wouldn't it? Either that or he's appallingly ignorant, another characteristic of many of Trump's staff, supporters, and appointees. /sarcasm with a soupçon of truth
-
Makes no difference (to me) who appointed him. Giving false information under oath is, well, wrong. No matter who does it. No matter the excuse.
-
Then you're supportive of the way Robert Mueller is conducting the investigation of the Russian involvement in our election(s), right? HE'S been smart enough to not even speak publicly, let alone lie under oath (which Trump has been known to do).
-
When has Trump lied under oath?
-
A simple Google "Trump lied under oath" reveals this. https://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/video-emerges-of-trump-lying-under-oath … Borowitz may be a satirist, but he's right.

"According to the judge, NSA analysts had been conducting such searches in violation of the prohibition 'with much greater frequency than had previously been disclosed to the court.'" It's been rampant & Wray knew it.

I remember this article. Hell, I remember that same moment. I sat back and wanted to cry. Frustrated doesn't even cover that moment you realize it's a new face but it's telling the same lies.
