How about bad actors in White House, Congress, former campaign workers? When this administration falls, I hope civics soul searching is on a lot of folks’ menus.

What about them? They are definitely being targeted and nobody I see is suggesting they shouldn't be. I'm responding to the odd notion that we shouldn't want to find bad actors in intel community.
-
I don’t disagree with that premise, but exactly whom? And what possible explanation could there be to not hear from Director Wray before voting or, more egregiously, not vote to publish minority memo?
-
(Whom, what?) Why not hear from Wray? I don't know their reason, but I would say Wray isn't owed consultation since 1. Wray provided misinformation under oath to Congress http://thehill.com/opinion/civil-rights/365131-fbi-chiefs-claim-on-surveillance-abuse-doesnt-fit-the-evidence … and 2. FBI has stonewalled Congress on info requests/witnesses/docs.
-
Those are partisan opinions - not facts. As DOJ - Trumps DOJ - stated - publication without consulting intel and DOJ/FBI is beyond reckless. What misinfo from Wray (hand picked choice of Administration)? And minority memo? Last bastion of House bipartisanship now gone.
-
Nope, not partisan opinions. (Not everything you disagree with is a partisan opinion). It's only "reckless" when you listen to those defending their own. I gave you the link to Wray's proven misinformation.
-
Not everything you posit is truth. Could you resend link. Didn’t get it. Sorry to bother.
-
You are right of course. Here's the link:http://thehill.com/opinion/civil-rights/365131-fbi-chiefs-claim-on-surveillance-abuse-doesnt-fit-the-evidence …

Do you think that anything will come from the memo or will the media and left attack it so it all looks like lies?
-
Of course it will be attacked with a propaganda campaign. Whether anything comes of it depends on whether enough Americans who care make their voices heard over those of those pulling strings.

The FBI is supposed to be a politically neutral law enforcement agency. If members veered from that ethos, then those members have been corrupted. Nobody else, just those that failed to uphold the standards every other member is held accountable to each and everyday.

This is why we are grateful he is a former congressman. Thank God because this level of ignorance is what causes the problems we are dealing with today. Good Lord!
-
He is a fiscal 'conservative'. Big biz and cheap labor, the broken leg of the Republican stool.
-
I had to unfollow him, that tweet speaks volumes about who he is.
-
I don't follow him either. During primaries he gave himself away, as most pretenders do. Just have to listen closely.
-
I read his opposition to the Drain The Swamp agenda. He acted like he was all in different times but yes, you have to read between the lines.

Yes, this is what I don’t understand about the people who do not want this information to be revealed. If these surveillance methods are able to be abused without consequence, at some point it could be used against you.
