How long before the hammer falls on the FISA abuse ?
-
-
-
It's starting I think. Not sure why Congress would approve extension without changes in light of the obvious abuses and need for evaluation.
-
When i made this ^ point to
@jamiedupree he said the vote on Thursday was not the controversial part of FISA, but section 702, part of title 7. What part has been abused? -
That is (in my view) a misrepresentation. 702 has been abused according to FISA court and neutral authorities. Those who say it's not are propagandizing. Please glance at this examples:http://thehill.com/opinion/civil-rights/365131-fbi-chiefs-claim-on-surveillance-abuse-doesnt-fit-the-evidence …

@SharylAttkisson If the Clintons paid Fusion GPS to manufacture a fake dossier on@realDonaldTrump and then proceeded to get a FISA Court warrant based on that in order to spy on Hillary's political opponent, would you not agree that this is a scandal far worse than Watergate? -
Yes, if true. I think some of what we already know already makes Watergate pale.
-
The U.S. government has morphed into a mob-ocracy, probably much earlier on than any of us suspect. That's the way it looks anyhow, especially when highly-placed government officials repeatedly plead the 5th Amendement during Congressional investigations.

Have you been offered gigs on any of the cable news networks? If so by who and if not why do you think?
-
Yes but I am too busy with my own weekly broadcast program which is more widely seen has editorial independence not available at many places elsewhere.

Can you update us on your case?
@SharylAttkisson -
Friday had a hearing and got rulings in our favor. Judge told
@TheJusticeDept we are entitled to discovery from intel agencies (that they're trying to block). It was a good day.

Have you ever felt at any point in your many investigations that your safety was at risk?
-
Well yes. But nothing ever physically happened to me (unless you count govt surveillance of my computers). I felt threatened by a no-neck bodyguard type once who approached me at a dinner but I think his threats were intended as intimidation.
