Sure, but Trump's use of "fake" to describe those good-faith mistakes is wholly distinct from the original (bad faith) meaning of "fake news." I still think it's fair to credit him with a coinage.

Those are not good faith mistakes. They’re bias driven attempts to delegitimize his presidency. They happen far too often, and are all one sided to be anything else. This honest mistake scenario is just the latest attempt of Leftist media to never be held accountable.
