However, people who have provided me trusted info in past (including fmr. Obama admin. officials) have waved me off of the notion that there was Trump collusion and there hasn't yet been evidence of any that I have seen yet so much misreporting. So that's where I'm at. https://twitter.com/AlbaneseJoe/status/947491898800840705 …

You mean Don Jr’s email exchange where he was told that the Russian gov’t wanted to help his fathers campaign and that they wanted to meet because they had dirt in Hillary isn’t evidence of collusion? Really? It may not be CONCLUSIVE evidence but it is evidence is it not!

Based on your Tweet, though, u just also think the Trump "dossier" is evidence of collusion by DNC/Clinton/russians?

No the dossier isn’t “evidence” because it is just a collection of raw intelligence. The information contained therein, if verified, would indeed be evidence. Again not conclusive but evidence the same way a bank robber buying a ski mask before his crime might be “evidence”

Right. But what we have learned since then about it being oppo research paid for by DNC/Clinton/Republicans gives pause for serious consideration wouldn't you agree?

No. Why are you suggesting that Steele just made stuff up to please the clients that were paying him? He is a person with a sterling reputation and extensive knowledge of Russian intelligence. What difference does it make who paid for the research if it is accurate?

If accurate and wholesome, it wouldn't matter. But even Trump's enemies have acknowledged some of the dossier info was proven false (so that's a red flag and I don't think means Steele has a sterling reputation). #2 it wasn't presented as oppo research... it was peddled as if

Nothing has proven “false” that I am aware of. Unverified yes but what has been proven false?

For example, dossier said Trump personal lawyer Cohen travelled to Prague for meeting -- but he's never been to Prague. Even Dems investigating have accepted this (as far as I know).http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/31/politics/michael-cohen-russia-letter-congress/index.html …

No Sharyl, just because he said he didn’t go to Prague is not dispositive to me, nor should it be to an open minded journalist. Many have pointed out he could have gotten to Prague without a passport stamp. Please be a tiny bit more cynical.

I am quite cynical and you could be right, but as you said, it's evidence to consider. Can't prove you didn't go somewhere but no evidence, strong denial made in writing and accepted by Congressional investigators (including Dems)--unless they're hiding something.
