I had a local news caster tell me just the opposite of this post. She said that the articles come from their NATIONAL affiliate and they run them. She did not use the word MUST but said altering them was not authorized.

That's what I tried to say.

I respectfully disagree. I don’t think you can compare network newscasts to local news. And I think most networks do a good job of presenting both sides. They usually have more time to do so.
-
Well we can disagree; that's ok! I"m not comparing local to net. I'm also not saying the nets didn't/don't oftentimes do a decent job. I worked at 4 local affiliates & 3 national nets so I got a pretty global view of what goes on. In my opinion... 1/2

Such a grasp of the written word. Isn't at your cover story whenever the facts don't match the reporting? It was a typo?
-
I think you made a typo, I seriously don't fully understand your insult. Nonetheless, I have never had a story where the facts didn't match my reporting since I rely on facts for the reporting. (Part of my track record is luck, yes, but I do try to be very careful.)
-
You are correct it is a typo and I made a mistake from the git go. Completely misunderstood your tweet. Just came back to delete my tweet after finding your original tweet about local stations being required to run Network "biased" my word stories my apologies.

Well, actually, you're both correct. I know quite a bit about certain topics that I've spent some time researching. Many others I don't know too much about.
