I have to disagree...$75 is nothing these days. And in relation to the tax cuts, it's a slap in the face of every @realDonaldTrump low income voter (those who put him in office). What can you buy with $75? If you have 4 kids...a McDonald's dinner for you and the fam. That's it
-
-
-
I will take the $75 dollars. That is a payment towards a morgage, car loan, student loan, electric bill, helps with groceries, clothes for anyone of my children or an extra Christmas present. $75×12= $900 could be an extra morgage payment
-
Not saying i wouldn't but it amounts to nothing considering what the 1% got...why would you defend getting fucked by the
@GOP? Unless you make over a half million a year you're not gonna see much -
I always learned that you'll live in a constant state of angst if you live your life comparing yourself to others... It isn't productive. It ages you and makes you sick! There's always someone better off; always people worse.
-
Not sure your point Sharyl. Your bots and trolls love to get after me every time I try to talk sense in a thread with you. LOL I don't care. All I know is sick kids are not getting heathcare and parents will be in agony due to end of CHIP but Donald gets his jet paid by usa.
-
If you believe it's right that 85% of the cuts go to the top 1% who don't need (and the rich I know, don't want) instead of those that it can truly help it's just greed. I don't care about any philosophy in that regard. it's simple math. It sucks and it's wrong
-
I get attacked by bots and trolls all the time. No offense but I don't believe any analysis of the tax bill unless and until I can calculate it myself and I haven't had time to do so. I see arguments on both sides as to how the $ helps or doesn't.
-
Well you know I respect your opinion and as a life long liberal I accept you're a moderate and fair....but these guys are truly stupid morons that are after me and the tax plan...well...it's clear on a few points, private jets paid, sick kids not paid. love you Sharyl!

Sharyl working class Americans are not so stupid to not see the unfairness of the tax bill and to be outraged at how it enriches the wealthy. All they have to do is look at the below charts.pic.twitter.com/luU1EjrKkm
-
It is because the “rich” (top 5%) pay 50% of the income taxes. There is no way “the rich” will not get a bigger tax cut. The bottom 50% pay 1% of income taxes. Of course their cut will be smaller.

Lol. Same here. Even now just the other day I also found a 20 dollar bill in my winter jacket and I loved it! I went and check the rest of them hoping I will find another one
. You can get a lot of things at the dollar store with 20 dollars imagine 75 ! Anything is good

I remember liberals screaming about the unfairness of women paying $12 a month for birth control - apparently an unaffordable fortune, but getting a $3k annual tax reduction is 'crumbs.'

@DineshDSouza There are people who are living those days today. I hired 70 hourly, manufacturing employees this month, in NC, 50 of which had not worked in 6 months, through no fault of their own.#forgottenmenandwomen@seanhannity@SenatorBurr -
@POTUS gave America a gift this week of lower taxes. I gave the gift of employment to 70 forgotten men and women.#Makeamericaemployedagain -
The owner of our company took us all out for Christmas lunch yesterday, which he hasn't done in yrs. We got a bonus, and not just regular employees, temps as well. He has never given temps a bonus before. But remember, the tax bill was literally Armageddon.
-
I'm glad that your owner did that for all of you. I'm sure he/she feels some relief that better days are ahead and he/she can take care of making life better for you at work. It's been 8 years of stagnation and uncertainty.
@POTUS gave us more hope than Obama. -
Ever since Trump was elected he has been quite optimistic about the company's future. Under Obama we almost had to shut the doors 3 times.

I buy a lot of store-brand groceries to save a few dollars. I've got car payments, house and apartment payments (kids in college), house repairs, etc. Chikfila or Frisch's Big Boy is a night out. Matinee movies are cheaper priced, if we go at all. Doing what I can to save money
