Bad analogy. In 1967 we barely understood what autism was, much less did we have the ability to diagnose it. Even compared to 20 years ago, diagnostic ability has improved greatly

My bad analogy was on purpose in response to his bad analogy. However, on the other hand, even the govt agrees that diagnostic ability doesn't account for increase in autism. They say it's a real epidemic. Alarming.
-
Will take your word for it but I struggle to believe it. For example, did we even know what Asperger's Syndrome was 50 years ago, much less that it's part of the spectrum, much less how to diagnose it properly? I'd never even heard of it 20 years ago...
-
They used to call it idiot savant syndrome a century ago.
-
True. (But 1/42 boys wasn't thought of as an idiot savant.)

Anyone who says diagnosis is fooling themselves or stupid. Ask a teacher or you grandparents if 1 in 42 children had these issues. My son was fine at 20 months. Fever after his vaccines, uncontrollable screaming and stopped talking after 24 hours. The vaccines did it!

@HugBoxxNinja was your attending doctor,@CurtLindermanSr ? -
Actually...plenty of cases have been awarded 4 vaccines causing autiam. Hannah Poling was the big case on CNN...(which of course, they lied about) one has only to look at their advertisers to understand why...but go on about ur life while I'm wiping my 16 yr olds ass scumbag

Because it hasn't been studied properly. The last study showing no correlation has a whistleblower that says the entire study was a fraud and showed correlation. But u would have to give a damn to look it up.

Have you ever thought its a genetic mutation based on an evolutionary change? Look at the most successful people in the last 200 years, mostly high functioning autistic. More brain time less manual labor could be leading to singular functionality. My son is autistic
-
Stop looking at artificial reasons and look at genetic. Our whole society has changed to less physical labor and more time for the brain to expand beyond survival. This could be a genetic mutation no different then we experienced .5m thru 4 million years.

That's one variable Sharyl but it's not the only thing that changed from 1957 to 2017. No scientific study has linked any vaccine to autism, whatever autism is. It could be caused by 1000 other things.
-
Actually, there are many studies, here is the most recent one that points to aluminum, which is used as an adjuvant in many vaccines, as a likely culprit. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0946672X17308763 …

I think the increase is due to the changing definition of autism and states seeking out kids who might have autism and then referring them two doctors known to diagnose autism. It is a big industry.

It's seems everyone is corrupt and we'll never get a true answer. I'll make my choices looking thru

Crickets from most media on this. Many of my friends with children diagnosed with autism have seizures.https://physiciansforinformedconsent.org/news/physicians-informed-consent-finds-mmr-vaccine-causes-seizures-5700-u-s-children-annually/ …
