Everything has side effects. It'd be like claiming Chemo is 100% safe. It's a laughable position.

The problem is, unless you march in lock-step on this issue, you are labeled anti-vax. Given that actually HAVING a disease confers a stronger lifetime immunity, I am leery of any for diseases which are not life-threatening or cause disfigurement.

Please, join me in asking federal legislators to amend the federal law already in place that requires drs to report serious adverse events to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). Drs aren't doing this, but NOTHING happens to them. There should be a consequence!

Well that & while vaccine safety may have been studied on the basis of individual administration, has there been any study on the impact on infant/toddler brains from the administration of multiple vaccines over a relatively short period of time? The reality is that there R none

The pub health community has decided to oversimplify vaccines because they a) want max vaccination, b) figure most folks are kinda dumb.

But, so much depends on the unique makeup of the user. Nothing is ALWAYS safe nor always dangerous. It's always a wager. Vaccines are newsmakers these days, but any drug can kill you.

Losses loom larger than gains. We forget about the 1 billion who are saved and (rightfully) weep for the 1 child who is hurt. Society compensates their family as we should. Course. maybe it's just 1 million saved/1 hurt. Hopefully it's not 1,000/1. But it would be nice to know.

Before, millions got the measles every year in the U.S. (basically an entire birth cohort), a few hundred died. So at most the vax may have saved a few hundred a year. How many does it hurt? We don't know b/c we don't collect accurate info on adverse events. But it is a LOT!
