And correct me, because I'm not too bright, but how does ending the mandate end or force a reported 13 million people (media reports) off of healthcare. It simply means, or would seem to mean, that they're not forced to pay for coverage or face egregious penalties for choice.

both correct statements IMO. Dems are trying to paint this bill as horribly as they can - no matter what the facts are!
-
I never bought health insurance and didn’t die . I was very burdened by paying a penalty for being responsible for my own care. So why will so many people die if the mandate is rescinded?
-
Apparently, you died and you just don't know it.
-
The only thing not healthy because of it was my checkbook !

No one was refused treatment at ER's in this country before Obamacare.

Since 1986 -- Public and private hospitals alike are prohibited by law from denying a patient care in an emergency.

(But the lowest income were long covered "free" and will still be regardless.)

No child in US goes without medical care. When they don't meet the Medicaid threshold, which is low, there are hospitals sponsored by Shriners or St Jude's to pick up. I am mom to disabled young adult and a social worker. This is a Trojan horse!
-
@shriners of springfield fixed my sisters feet when she was a toddler, even though my parents didn't have the money. Great people! -
Shriners never charge for their treatment of children with burns or orthopedic problems.
-
Shriners are an amazing hospitals that is on the cutting edge of treatment for children with very rare congenital conditions...Americans take of their fragile, despite what the press tries to sell!

Kids do or CHIP. Adults don't, until Obamacare.
-
Not so. Low income adults receive Medicaid in every state.
-
I'm one of those people . I had no options until Obamacare made Medicaid available to low income adults.
-
Good and I'm one of these people who cannot afford the massive premium increases.
-
So are 2 of my kids, my grand baby & my Mom. Never said I supported O-care, I don't. I hate seeing my family worry & struggle while I'm good.
