I never heard of @jack until some of you tweeted me about him. So I went to look and saw that -- I'm following him. (Though I'm pretty sure I never pressed the button to follow him.)

Easy if you receive a dated DM acknowledging the follow. In any case, the “Following” list is in chronological order, so latest “follows” are at the top of your list.

In Sharyl’s case she’s following 4500+ accounts so finding the follow on her list not terribly helpful in pinpointing date of the follow

I disagree but have no desire to argue. “Following” list can be downloaded via 3rd-party software and cross-checked against any acknowledgement DM’s to approximate time window. Easier to manage and reference in a spreadsheet than on Twitter, even with “lists”. Or just unfollow!
