On the other hand, I never had a flu shot and never had the flu. So if I'm you, do I conclude not having the flu shot kept me from getting the flu?https://twitter.com/ella_earle/status/937094043175149569 …

I get a shot every year. The last time I didn't was about 25 years ago. Sick as a dog for 2 weeks. Never had the flu since with the shot.

Herd Immunity. . .you should thank all those co-workers over the years who got their flu shots. Even though you were too self-centered to risk a shot, all those others who did protected you, too. Hope you do not get the flu and pass it along to an at-risk infant or senior citizen

This is simply gibberish. Those that don't get flu shots are generally the ones not getting the flu, and it's not because "others protected them". They are simply healthier people. I've known more people who get flu shots that get sick regularly.

The shot works for most. Most that have had a good dose of the flu NEVER want it again. 1st time I had it I was in bed for about 7 days feeling like CRAP. Took weeks to fully recover. 2nd time years later I expected repeat & got nothing nearly as bad..

Ok so one person got sick and was probably allergic. Doctors the experts still say a flu shot is good especially for the young and old

Anyone opposed to flu shots should study the 1918 Flu Outbreak. The amount of deaths was worse than wars. 500 Million infected/50-100 Million dead..

I understand the dangers of the flu. Most people have never had it, had a mild virus. That said, there is a risk of G-B that science should explore.

I’ve never had a flu shot and never had the flu either. Silly people thinking injecting toxic chemicals is the answer. So clueless. It’s called an immune system. Pro Tip: anything relating to Big Pharma HURTS YOU. Also, the flu lasts for about 24 hours🤦🏼‍♀️

I've never taken a flu shot either. I did catch the flu at least twice in my life, and it is miserable, but I will never take a flu shot. Not as long as I have anything to say about it.
