But we didn’t vote for @JeffSessions, who’s seemingly proving to be “swampy.” I voted for @POTUS to #DrainTheSwamp. This corruption MUST end

Everyone seems to be trashing Sessions lately, but seems to me he is slogging through some important, difficult stuff on immigration.
-
Good on immagration. Agreed. But there is rare opportunity to bring down the DC plague, & he makes wrong move every time. Why?

-
Yeah, I'm not following that so closely, as it is such a spaghetti-like mess.
-
Maybe he is waiting for a strong case that won't need to be explored for years.
-
What would you tackle first?
-
I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why he isn’t lifting the “gag order” (NDA) on the FBI informant, who’s willing to share EVERYTHING.
-
Part of an ongoing investigation and doesn't want the info out yet? I'm assuming he knows what this guy would say?

I think the fish stinks from the head down and We the People deserve justice.

Ultimately it will require the political will to do something. She and her minions are too connected and the FBI is suspect. Good luck.

Any self respecting AG would resign if any President tried to interfere in indictments and prosecutions of this magnitude.
-
The President is the AG's boss. National Security overrides criminal law. This country is on razors edge. Got to consider big picture.
-
The Justice Department is not a political weapon. It has to be free and independent for our liberal Democracy to survive.
-
Sorry, but its always got a political role. Change requires new laws...and enforcement is a fact. Federal Marshals broke segregation.
-
The Executive branch cannot be in charge of who the Judicial branch will prosecute. We don't elect Kings.
-
I refer you to Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, John Mitchell, etc. Its way bigger than racketeering. Huge impact going forward. No AG has this.
-
A free & independent Justice Department can handle it. Justice must be blind, it cannot hang on the whim of one man with all his prejudices.

I don't believe the president has the capacity to indict anyone. That would be up to the DOJ or Special Prosecutor.

Wowa! "The President himself"? Nah! Under job description of DOJ not POTUS. I THINK, just like most of US, he would like an Ending in sight!
