Nobody is saying disregard health. But by all accounts our costs are way out of whack. The trick is not wasting the $ we have. BTW the poorest among us had free coverage before Obamacare & will still have it afterward via Medicaid even w/"cuts."https://twitter.com/AdamAhdoot/status/920298586318897156 …

I'm a fan but people's health should not be seen in this way. If a nation cannot protect its citizens what is its overall goal?

Yes. From Medicaid. The only proposed cuts are to the higher income people who received expanded Medicaid. The poorest still covered either way.

Protecting citizens n "taking care of" citizens are 2 entirely different things. 47 million immigrants in this country. 20 trillion $ debt.

The left needs to decide.Do they want freedom,or do they want a measly loaf of bread from a govt that now has total control over our lives.

It's not the nation's or businesses job to provide health care. Let the free market take it and it will be better for all.

Much purposeful confusion about Health Care vs Health Insurance. Yes, there's interaction but health care is widely available even w/o Ins.
