If the government did not guarantee reimbursement, how fast would the price of medical care come down?

Same with student loans> I reported on both on
@FullMeasureNews -- the health care a week ago last sunday. Zombiecare posted athttp://www.fullmeasure.news -
The government's pretty involved with student loans. But as far as I know govt didn't do all that much with healthcare until the ACA, yet costs have been rising for a long time.
-
I"m not an expert but experts I trust say the prices the govt has long negotiated (in secret) w/providers/drug companies/hospitals dictate all of our costs. $$$$$
-
Hmm. TIME did a pretty good investigation into how hospitals do their pricing a few years back. You might find it interesting.http://healthland.time.com/why-medical-bills-are-killing-us/ …

Pre election poll after poll after poll told us Donald J Trump was losing.
@SenSanders you may want to get to work and help solve this mess. -
He actually has been. He and a group have been trying to get support for a universal healthcare type bill, but they're not getting much support because politicians are too worried about next Congressional elections. I think there's another bipartisan bill that Collins, etc. want
-
What part dont you understand we DO NOT want universal healthcare. We want the government out of our healthcare. They are the problem
-
Isn't that basically what we had before Obamacare. When insurance companies were happy to take our money but then say, " We don't cover this or that.", "This was a precondition, we won't cover it.", "Your doctor's medical report was hard to read, your claim is denied".
-
funny i never had that problem and i could actually afford insurance before obama got a hold of it.
-
Well lucky you my friend. In multiple ways. You actually had insurance, that's amazing. And they weren't jerks or you never needed to actually use it... That's pretty lucky. 2 of the things I mentioned is personally had happen with people I was helping out.
-
yeah lucky me! i had a job and take care of myself but when i was sick it covered me just fine and i didnt have a ridiculous 5000 deductible
-
All of that is lucky. But nobody disagrees that costs have gone up. Heck, even the Democrats agree.

I'm a fan but people's health should not be seen in this way. If a nation cannot protect its citizens what is its overall goal?
-
So the State is now “socialized” to “protect health” where does it stop? A State big enough to give can also take away? Recourse: none.

Socialist fools like
@SenSanders never worry about such things, Sharyl. At least not until they run out of other people's money. - End of conversation

Don't bother
@SenSanders w/facts. Cares not about budgeting. When asked "how will you pay for it?" His answer "we'll have to work that out." -
Figures!
