Then the NY Times should be subpoenaed to provide the memo. There are no anonymous sources now. Why not hand it over? I think it's all BS.

I don't think NYT was given memo. Not sure but my impression was the professor read it to them? Maybe they didn't even see it (?)

As far as I know, that's how it was widely understood in the days after it broke. I never heard otherwise.

It was just read out over the phone- or so we are led to believe. We don't even know that for sure.
