"Keith! Don't do it!" Doesn't sound like a simultaneous conversation.

she kept telling the police not to shoot him. Seemed sure he didn't have a gun. Has a TBI just took meds. 1/2

Yes but then switched to begging him "not to do" something as he was getting out of car. Sad all the way around.

I think that request was directed to the police.

It didn't sound like that at all--BUT, granted, things are often not as they seem.

imagine being in that situation. You could be talking to different people at once. "Don't do it"... "Keith!"

I did imagine that but it didn't sound anything like that to me. But like I say--could be wrong. Just my take.

it did to me. Especially her reaction after he was shot. "He better not be dead" and repeated it. I feel 4 her.

If it was me I'd be begging the cops to let me reason with him. Especially if all he had was a book.

they ignored everything she was saying. My question is if they were there serving a warrant why interest in him

True. I don't think cops can react definitively to people shouting things. Anybody can (and does) shout anything.
