Why be so afraid of the "T" word in such an instance?
@peterbaskind Nobody has to say "Islamic" yet; i.e. we can know it's "terrorism" without labeling it further until more is known.

@SharylAttkisson Agreed. But, we do not yet know if the shooters have a political agenda, the hallmark of terrorism. -
@peterbaskind Yes. Also even if the attackers had turned out to be Muslims I don't think anyone in the govt will call it Islamic terrorism.. -
@SharylAttkisson I absolutely agree with that statement. And, that issue is problematic, in itself. -
@peterbaskind It's just hard to feel like we get simple, straight facts at times.
