"Of all dietary pesticides that humans eat, 99.99 percent are natural: they are chemicals produced by plants to defend themselves against fungi, insects, and other animal predators."

Most people are eating these and not washing them. Disgusting. I soak my organic fruit and vegetables in “food grade” hydrogen peroxide..comes 17%, dilute down to 3. You can find it at a natural pharmacy. Works all around the house and in and out of the body.
-
This is exactly why I only eat highly processed foods like Cheetos and frozen burritos.

Did you ever look at the amount of products that use corn? Did you ever see how many chemicals are added to corn and sprayed on them to grow? Just watching the farmers around me I have seen its a lot.

Yep and when the "farmers" spraying the strawberries are in full white suite with masks on! That's real life in Hockinson, WA!

Considered okay by whom? Why trust the government with your food? Have they proven dependable in other areas?

It is about managing risk. There is literally no way that we could produce enough food organically to feed the world. Pesticides increase yields at a level where the risk is considered acceptable. Government allows it is because they don't want mass famine and starvation.
-
Proper pesticide use is extremely important as well. The ill effects of pesticides can often be a result of not following the label and using it as intended.
-
The FDA's research on pesticides and their safety is amazing. If you've never looked at the tolerances and the amount of research done before a pesticide can be used on the market, I highly recommend it: https://www.fda.gov/food/foodborneillnesscontaminants/pesticides/ucm583711.htm …
