Turn off computer, news, social media. Get outside the biggest cities. Most ppl r actually just fine. All races, types living/working together with surprisingly little strife. There are people who want us to live in the artificial reality they create/control. Don't fall for it. https://twitter.com/johnaconner/status/1033867240670679041 …

What say you to the idea that people are more honest about their beliefs on the internet / social media? The freedom of anonymity?
-
I think that's absolutely true in some respects. It doesn't mean, thought the proportion of people who say what they say and tweet the most represent the reality. My book talks about the special interests who manipulate this environment to make it seem so.

How could you possibly know that it’s the case in most cities, neighborhoods, workplaces? Also, how do you know that your perspective reflects the experiences of people who don’t look like you?

What evidence or data do you have to back up the claim that this is “the view from most US cities, neighborhoods and workplaces?”
-
...or that “all races/types” live/work together with surprisingly little strife?
