I think there can be a difference between actual fact checker that are not aligned politically and censorship. If there was a real regulatory system or oversight purely for fact checking I think it can benefit all.

In my opinion there is on way to purely fact check. The fact checkers always prove to be conflicted to some degree. Best to let people figure things out for themselves than insert a forced third party into the process.

Thats the issue When people are left to their own devices 2016 happens. People cannot be trusted to come up with their own opinions not bec they arent capable of it but bec of the amount of misinformation. There are stories I literally have to research for hrs to find the truth

Someone recently asked me to come up with a model that would work and I couldn't. Not that I'm the expert on coming up with models--but the nature of info and knowledge makes this very difficult.
