Thank. There's A LOT of disinformation floating out there this weekend. It's sad.

Where do they get their approval ratings for Trump among African-Americans? Is it this number post-Lebron spat? For reasons that are non-scientific I could see a high teens number given immigration and growing conservatism, but anything towards 40% seems super far off.
-
We are the most resistant of the Resistance. Instead of trying to find out why that's the case, the right chooses to either insult black America, or try to pretend that we actually *do* support Trump.

I am sure I speak for many people who think to themselves, "I've never been contacted nor has anyone I know been contacted regarding these polls. How do they choose the sampling and contact people?" Probably answer more than can be put in a twitter post.
-
Yup. The distributed sample stuff across the proper demographic mix is key. And I'd say respondent privacy is right up there also. Its on our web page under the FAQ's under Methodology . Then of course, accuracy is the final exam. Read more here -https://www.peoplespunditdaily.com/opinion/2018/01/08/results-matter-rasmussen-republican-leaning-make-everyone-else/ …

@SharylAttkisson Was there anything in your polling that gave indication as to the single most important reason why support for Trump among black Americans rose so dramatically in the last year? -
I would guess immigration. The dems have thrown the blacks to the curb to support illegals. Lotta dollars being thrown at illegals that could have helped blacks.....
-
I would have to say jobs, actually. Black support for Trump rose when they started getting better, and better paying, jobs. Democrats saw that and shifted to immigration and Latino support. But I’m no pollster, it’s just my personal belief.
-
For the record, it goes the same for all racial groups as far as jobs and approval rating. I was just being specific towards the question asked. I realize now having re-read it that it could come off incorrect of intent.
-
Dems started losing black support before that.....
-
Perhaps. But Trump only received, what, 8 or 9% of the black vote in 2016? He did slightly better than Romney in ‘12, but only by a couple of points. This latest trend being in the 30s is a major difference

To distinguish your polls from others, would it be possible for you to put not only the political leanings of those polled on the summary sheet, but also the general geographical location (by state)?

Do pollsters covering 2018 mid-terms think there may be the same skew that existed in 2016, i.e., people did not want to admit they were for Trump but then went and voted for him?

@SharylAttkisson how can it be proved that Rasmussen is about the best and most accurate poll? Or am I wrong? Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
