Bias is the foundation for the house of cards on which the Clinton email investigation was based. Horowich refused to give an opinion on anything other than documentable facts, but viewed the overwhelming bias as a contextually documentable fact. Bias drove the conclusion.

I’d think that writing HC exonerating letter months before all witnesses were interviewed then changing the language in it so that she would not be charged with a crime is pretty good “documentary” evidence that bias effected the outcome of the investigation...but, that’s just me
-
I know, right?! That's what I thought, too. Horowitz explained the "reasoning" his team was given for this and I found it completely not credible. My gut tells me that he didn't agree with that reasoning, and I think he questioned it in the report, but didn't challenge decisions.

His expressions when Senator Graham was asking questions was like he couldn’t believe someone was finally asking real questions. Think he was hoping someone would actually get around to it.

Listened to Mr Gowdy summarize the events and e messages from Page and Strzok, one by one, date by date, walking the IG thru it. Any reasonable person could only read this one way: Hillary was given a Pass to Get out of Jail by FBI. Period.

And that fool Cummings-is a disgrace. I put him in the same category as Maxine Waters. Disgruntled Black man seeking retribution from Republicans for God knows what reason, it was Democrats who persecuted his friend Martin.

If the Law Enforcement powers of the government are used to let someone off the hook, Isn't that an act of Obstruction of Justice?

Could be. I think that they do not want a situation where it might lead to shutting down the FBI for reorganization, and to prevent a possible demand for reviewing of many FBI cases for possible legal violations like fake evidence, lying by agents, etc.

Same deflection game as was used about "intent" in Clinton case even though it wasn't part of statute. Good talking point to obscure the important issue.

I stand undirected. And the Dems want to howl about "Constitutional crisis???" I'd call the hijack of the DOJ a constitutional crisis.

According to Comey, no crime without intent. Bias establishes intent.

Because ‘bias’ has no definitive criminal penalty. ‘Bias’ is merely a political argument which the carryover Obama DOJ/FBI leadership hopes this can be limited to.

Isn't a biased FBI investigation a crime ?

Bias directs an individual's actions or non actions....its not that they are not allowed personal views , its when in the process of investigation they express these in communications directed at individuals under investigation. It does have merit
-
The IG claims there was NO Bias...and its apparent that there is and was....this also hold water....especially when it concerns the unequal treatment of any individual under the law.there can be no exceptions to the law.favoring Hillary indicates contrary to that .

Sharyl, evidently, bias IS there. Bias leads to lying, and ignoring the rules of evidence, rules of law, and rules of LEGAL investigation. I think that these bias questions ARE valid.
