(In my opinion) nobody really thinks some of our best and brightest at FBI need "training" on obviously improper behavior. It's just a typical bureaucratic way of being able to say you took action instead of attacking the real problem. #SpendOurMoney #WasteTime #ChangeNothing https://twitter.com/cherylqmiller/status/1008924166911942657 …

A few bad apples don’t spoil the whole bunch. There’s around 40,000 feds. Around 39,970 think Comey and the ones being talked about are pathetic

Clearly the 7th Floor didn’t contain the best and brightest. But no one is faulting the rank & file.

Until some of the rank & file start arresting and we see former FBI officials convicted, I'll fault the rank & file. The "I'm just doing my job" excuse doesn't fly. I've had Horowitz' testimony on at work - absolutely damning. Bribery, bias, you name it - criminal conduct.

In general, people are blaming the 7th Floor, and the Dems have created a straw man that Rs are condemning the little guy. But the amount of press contacts in the IG report is alarming. It’s on Comey. IMO, the IG whitewashed it, and could be more forthcoming.
