Saying "vaccines save billions of lives" while trying to shut down discussion of adverse events and possible improvements is silly and propagandistic. Medicine "saves billions of lives" but not all medicine is safe for all people. It's just a fact.https://twitter.com/rdeh20/status/1006745155238551552 …

Many have nothing to do with the vaccine. Cdc is supposed to analyze the data to figure out if any association. This was just subacute time frame - within wks.For parents who had any concerns on vaccine, I strongly believe there will be a recall bias for anything happen yrs later

I am not sure it is that simple. I am a MD. Used to oversee thousands individuals to get vaccinated (per cdc schedule) each month. Any reported symptoms (skin rash, diarrhea, infection etc) during a few wks window s/p the vaccine would be reported.

It's not "simple", but totally plausible. And as far as I know, these practices all get used.
