The side effects of vaccines are generally those if the diseases themselves only much milder & less frequent. So an individual may be harmed at the expense of a benefit to the population.

There is that philosophy but the risk/benefit ratio is different for different vaccines and individuals and that can be sorted out if we were to admit it and try. Why not make them as safe as possible for as many as possible?

I do think the autism paper needs to be discarded before debate using accurate knowledge is started. Reference to that paper makes Drs turn their brains off.

Oh there are many... but I do agree govt/pharma/medical establishment like to push the notion that there was *one* debunked study. There are so many pieces of undebunked science that suggest a link.
